The aperture of f/2.8 allows for shooting in low light and creating a nice bokeh. The build quality is simple and metallic and the lens has a 67mm filter thread. It offers good image quality with sharpness and low distortion. Vignetting is present but improves when stopped down. Coma levels are low and sun stars are visible at f/2.8. The background separation is good at f/2.8. Overall, it is a nice lens for wide angle photography on Sony and Fuji APS-C cameras.
