The Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 IS USM lens is an absolutely awesome lens in about every regard. At 24mm and the widest aperture of f/2.8, the picture quality is sharp with great contrast and very good image quality. At 45mm and f/2.8, there is a tiny improvement if you stopped down, and at 70mm, image quality is very good but not perfect until you stop down to f/5.6. This lens is brilliantly sharp with nice neutral colors and great image quality overall. The lens also performs well against lights, with notable flaring and glaring at wide angles, and a moderate distortion when zoomed into 17mm. However, this lens is still highly recommended due to its sharpness, great colors, image stabilization, and nice background blur, making it great for video work.
