The Canon EOS M6 Mark II is a major advancement from previous Canon models. It features a high-resolution 32.5 megapixels APS-C sensor, providing sharp image quality, even though a bit grainy. The camera's dynamic range is decent, with good results in highlight tone priority. The dual autofocus and Eye AF are incredibly sharp and accurate, and the initial autofocus set point tracking feature is perfect for photography. The camera is fast, capable of shooting up to 14 frames per second, making it ideal for sports photography. The touch screen is bright, clear, and responsive. However, the build quality is not as sturdy as other mid-range options, and the 4K video footage is notably soft. The lack of quality telephoto lenses for the EFM system is a drawback, and the absence of built-in image stabilization is disappointing. The ergonomics and button quality are average.

The lack of built-in image stabilization and average button quality are disappointing aspects of this camera.
