The sleek design, made of quality aluminium, contributes to its solid build and the slim dimensions make it ergonomic and portable. The 15.6-inch 300Hz screen with a matte finish delivers good color gamut, contrast ratio, and brightness, catering to high-end gaming and media work. The laptop offers good I/O connectivity, including Thunderbolt 3 port, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and WiFi 6, providing versatility for connecting various devices. The laptop's performance is top-notch, running hot with high-end specs but effectively mitigating throttling with fan adjustments and other modifications. In addition, it provides excellent gaming performance and impressive export times in Adobe Premiere. The laptop also offers a flexible selection of performance modes for different use cases, adding to its overall utility. However, the 300Hz screen may not be beneficial in non-eSports settings, and the GS66's use of DDR4 2666 memory, despite supporting faster options, leaves room for improvement in the memory department.
