The laptop is lightweight and features a clean matte black aluminum lid. However, the interior is made of black plastic. The laptop offers a good balance of value and performance, especially with the RTX 2060 graphics. The steelseries keyboard is user-friendly and features per-key backlighting. The 17.3 inch 1080p 144Hz level screen has good color gamut and brightness, but there was some backlight bleed in the reviewed model. The laptop comes with a 512GB NVMe SSD and a one terabyte hard drive, which offers plenty of storage space. However, the battery life is not very impressive. Despite this, the GL 75 is a great gaming laptop that offers good performance for the specs it's packing, and it punches above its weight. It even outperforms some higher-spec laptops in terms of gaming performance.
