Nvidia graphics resulting in blue screens.
The HP 15 laptop comes with an i7-8550U CPU, 16GB of RAM, Nvidia MX 130 graphics, and a 1TB hard drive accelerated by a 16GB Optane stick. The body of the laptop is made of plastic and has a matte silver top with a smooth brushed pattern on the interior. The 15.6 inch TN panel display has acceptable viewing angles but lacks in brightness and color accuracy, measuring only 58% sRGB. The laptop is fairly portable at around 2.2kg and has a decent keyboard, although the small arrow keys can be inconvenient. The speakers provide better than expected sound quality and the laptop runs cool and quiet even under load. The 720p camera is quite grainy, and the battery life is around 6 hours with the Intel graphics, although there were some issues with Nvidia graphics resulting in blue screens. The CPU was observed to power limit throttle, limiting performance, but the laptop ran fairly cool and quiet under load. The laptop is priced at around 1200 Australian dollars and offers some decent features but does have some performance limitations.
The laptop is fairly portable at around 2.2kg.
