The lens, however, has a limitation with a maximum aperture of f/4.5-5.6 as you zoom in, which may affect low light performance. The build quality is superb, the optics are very sharp, and the 16mm shots from this lens stand out and make your photography unique. The lens does have some distortion at 8mm and the bokeh quality is not super smooth but overall, it is a solid choice for wide angle enthusiasts and in the right hands, it can be seriously impressive.
