However, there are some issues with chromatic aberration, barrel distortion, and strong flaring, especially at its widest aperture. The build quality of the lens is nice, made of metal with a black paint finish, but it is surprisingly not weather-sealed. The lens cap and filter are unusually large, and the lens cap does not fit securely. On the positive side, it comes with a large deep lens hood that snaps in place securely. Overall, the lens offers a nice build quality and very high resolution, making it a good option for those looking for a high-quality manual focus lens with a very bright maximum aperture.
