Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 R Review

The Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 R is a top-quality lens that delivers excellent sharpness, nice bokeh, and great build quality. It's a bit heavy and may have some issues with flaring, but it's an excellent choice for portrait photography.
The Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 R is essentially one of the best lenses on the system, particularly for portrait photography. The serious problem I could find was with some flaring when shooting in bright light, but the deep lens hood should help with that quite a lot.
Pros
- Excellent sharpness
- Nice bokeh
- Great build quality
- Good for indoor photography
Cons
- Heavy
- Flaring issues
- Bokeh could be better
The build quality of the lens is solid and metallic, although it's a bit heavy at just over 400 grams.
The Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 R is a top-quality lens that delivers excellent sharpness, particularly in the middle of the image, with no purple fringing and neutral colors. The build quality is solid and metallic, although it's a bit heavy at just over 400 grams. The lens is great for shooting indoors and producing highly detailed backgrounds. The autofocus motor works quickly and accurately, but it may be a bit noisy for video makers. It also has a 62mm filter thread and a generously deep hood. The lens is capable of producing excellent close-up images, with close-up image quality remaining excellent even at f/1.2. However, there may be some issues with flaring and the bokeh may not be outstanding. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 R remains one of the best lenses for the Fuji system, particularly for portrait photography.
The lens is great for producing highly detailed backgrounds and the autofocus motor works quickly and accurately, but it may be a bit noisy for video makers.
