Fuij XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Review

70

The Fujifilm XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a good super zoom lens with impressive image quality in the center but weaker performance in the corners. It has nice bokeh and a good build quality with weather sealing, but the zoom ring can be stiff and the lens is not ideal for manual focusing. Overall, it is a reasonably priced lens with good color reproduction and contrast, but it may not be worth the high cost for some.

Pros
    Cons

The Fujifilm XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a good super zoom lens with impressive image quality in the center but weaker performance in the corners. The image stabilization and weather sealing make it ideal for various shooting conditions. The build quality, made of metal and high-quality plastics, is impressive, but the zoom ring can be stiff, and the lens is not ideal for manual focusing. The lens also exhibits soft corners and purple fringing especially at wider angles, but the center image quality is very impressive with good contrast. The bokeh quality is slightly above average for a zoom lens, and the lens offers good color reproduction. However, the high cost of the lens may not be justified for some due to its compromises in image quality and manual focusing limitations. The pros of this lens include: - Impressive image quality in the center - Nice bokeh - Good build quality with weather sealing - Reasonable price for a super zoom lens The cons of this lens include: - Soft corners and purple fringing - Stiff zoom ring - Not ideal for manual focusing Quote 1: 'The Fujifilm XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a good super zoom lens with impressive image quality in the center but weaker performance in the corners.
